What kind of question is that? The guy that discovered Bob Marley the man who Pioneered reggae filmmaking. The man who showed the world the real Jamaica in the harder they come? This man is a legend un surpassed and untouchable in the history of Jamaican music.

absolutely!!! not only the greatest reggae artist, hes the greatest artist at all for me...
This music s got si much happines and joy of livin, unique!!!but that s only my humble opinion :-)

Jimmy Cliff is the artist that got me into reggae music, and my favourite singer of all time. Although he (unjustly) is not the most famous reggae singer, he laid the groundwork for people like Bob Marley and Toots Hibbert to follow, and without him they couldn't have been as big as they were. The Harder They Come is an incredible film, with the best soundtrack for any movie ever made. My ambition in life is to one day be able to see him perform live, as a 16 year old I haven't really had the chance lol.

Yes,Jimmy Cliff is the greatest reggae artist alive I am a 15 year old and i love his songs. They have such a postive influence back in the days even now jimmy cliff is a man i look up for being one of the first Jamaican artist to spread reggae across the world

Hey, a lot of people my age (15), I wish I knew some Cliff fans.
Marley is pretty, very good, but Cliff is better.

Jimmy cliff is certainly a man who has inspired reggae music in the world and has more diverse message for the majority of the world poor and we in africa.
He is certainly the best brain in reggae and the music world, because he is creative and philosophical.
